So Incredible!

Empowered to talk about the journey: it’s an incredible feeling. Since launching this nonprofit a few weeks ago, there have been so many women who have reached out to us to share their journey through infertility, and for no other reason than to share. It’s incredible. My hope for this nonprofit is to not only financially support many of these deserving couples but to also give them a safe place to feel empowered and confident in sharing their journey, their emotions, and their struggles. We are here to support and to lend an ear for anyone going through this.

In addition to these strong women reaching out to simply share the journey, we’ve already had a number of deserving couples reach out in regards to being provided a grant to help them fulfill their dreams of having a child. Our hope is that we can provide at least a few grants before the end of 2019. Our ability to provide these grants relies solely on donations from the community and our success with our 5k Event on 10/19/19 and also the Dinner & Hope Event in March of 2020. 

Since launching, we’ve had dozens of shares of the 5k that is coming up on 10/19/19 and hundreds of people express their interest in the event - so incredible (and many have registered already!). We have had such a great outpouring of support that it truly reflects the amazing people we are surrounded by. In addition, I’ve also had many, many individuals reach out to ask if they can volunteer the day of the event - so generous! At this time, we are just about set for volunteers for the 10/19/19 5k walk/run event, but the biggest need we’ve been asking those who reach out to us to volunteer is to help continue to promote and share the 5k (the more participants we have, the better!!) and to also seek donations and baskets for the drawings that will be held at the event. There will be some great items up for a drawing on 10/19/19 already, but we are still accepting more baskets. As a reminder, you can register for the 5k run/walk event by clicking the button below.

There is a discount for registering 3+ people. Each participant receives a 5k t-shirt with registration (to be picked up at the event). We also have youth sizes as well! Children are encouraged to attend (there is a great swing set by our pavilion at Plamann Park for the event day). Sorry, pets are not allowed in Plamann Park.
